Weekly reports were sent out during the first month so progress could be seen. It was fun to be able to see the climb from very little traffic to gradually seeing notifications of new customers on a daily basis.
The tracking or results is something that simply is not done with most traditional forms of advertising. This is a big advantage with using the internet – almost everything can be monitored. If something is not working, you don’t have to guess – you see it and you can modify your strategy if necessary.
Adjustments Often Needed
Part of the adjustment process comes when competition creeps in. It happens and we must always be prepared to monitor and adjust. Sometimes Google changes the way it ranks items. You have to be able to keep up.
