We Must Know Where We Started

On the Google Business Listing, Bliss Salon was nowhere to be found when we started. There simply was nothing anywhere that customers could find about Bliss Salon and Spa unless they already knew where to look.

After we claimed the listing for Bliss Salon and Spa, we could gain access to the stats. Google normally has a business listing for every business automatically – it just doesn’t contain all the information that you would like. In this case, it did not know where to rank Bliss Salon and Spa – so it was stuck in the middle with the other 70 hair salons in the Greater Lafayette area.

Take note of the total number of “impressions”. Impressions are the number of times that the page is seen. It doesn’t mean that anyone clicked for more information, it just means that the listing showed up. Only 310 for the entire month.
